Today Duncan asked the Rt Hon Jesse Norman MP, Financial Secretary to the Treasury, about the possibility of an online sales tax in order to protect High Street businesses.
Mr Norman responded to say that a call for evidence was issued in July, and a period of consultation on the risks and merits of reforms to business rates and the tax regime now follows.
