Supporting our local charities has been a real passion for me. It’s been a privilege to run the London Marathon and so far donate £90,000 to over 40 local charities.
Recently I met with Omaze who run prize draws to win homes, cars and cash.
What I didn’t know was just how much money they raise for charity. They’ve raised over £13m for the Teenage Cancer Trust, The Prince’s Trust, British Heart Foundation, NSPCC & RSPCA.
It’s an interesting business model and I asked if businesses like this would be impacted by the new gambling white paper.
