On 24th June, the government updated its 'sector specific' guidance to various types of business, with information about what needs to be done to re-open in a Covid-19 secure way.
General Guidance

Pubs and Restaurants
Pubs, restaurants, and bars can re-open from 4th July providing social distancing is in place. For further information and guidance, click here.
Hotels and other guest accommodation
Hotels and other guest accommodation can re-open from 4th July providing social distancing is in place. This includes income generating accommodation for example, hostels, motels, inns, pubs, student accommodation, holiday parks, B&B’s, short term serviced accommodation and similar letting, guest houses, caravans, boats including for holiday hire and hotels, sleeper trains, yurts, chalets, campsites and caravans. If there are any additional facilities attached to the guest accommodation for example restaurants, bars, leisure facilities or retail shops please check that each individual facility is able to reopen under current government guidelines and refer to the relevant guidance.

Cinemas, Museums, and Galleries

Hair Salons and Barbers
Hair salons, barbers, and some other "close contact" services can re-open from 4th July providing social distancing is in place. For further information and guidance, click here.
Please note: close contact services are the most challenging, given the close proximity of staff and customers involves a heightened risk of spreading coronavirus. For this reason, some close contact services must remain closed for the time being. Current government guidance is as follows:
Dress fitters, tailors, and fashion designers were permitted to open in line with non-essential retail on 15th June 2020. Hairdressers and barber shops will be permitted to reopen for services that relate to cutting or treating hair on the head only from 4th July 2020. Other services, including beauty and nail bars, makeup, tattoo and spray tanning studios spas, sports and massage therapy, and well-being and holistic locations must remain closed for now.
